Valle Verde Animal Hospital is a locally owned veterinary practice serving dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small mammals in Albuquerque. Dr. Christina Cooper founded the hospital to create a welcoming place where families with both traditional and exotic pets could receive thoughtful, individualized care. Our approach begins with listening. We take time to understand what you’ve noticed, handle each patient gently, and explain recommendations in language that makes sense.
A Place for Pets of Many Species
Exotic pets have specialized medical and environmental needs, and their care often depends on details such as nutrition, housing, temperature, lighting, and daily routines. We help owners understand those connections while providing preventative and medical support for many bird, reptile, and small mammal species. Valle Verde Animal Hospital does not treat livestock, venomous species, or other potentially dangerous animals.
