Early visits give us the chance to evaluate growth, identify health concerns, discuss home care, and help your puppy or kitten become more comfortable with veterinary visits. We use gentle handling and take time to explain what your new companion needs and why.

Building a Healthy Foundation

Puppies and kittens need a series of visits during their first months of life. Their care plan will depend on age, health, lifestyle, and previous medical history.

We’ll create a schedule that fits your pet rather than treating every puppy or kitten exactly the same. If your new companion came home with records, please bring them so we can review what has already been completed.

Microchipping provides a permanent form of identification that can help reunite you with your pet if they become lost. The chip is placed beneath the skin during a brief procedure and contains a unique identification number linked to your contact information.

Registration is an important part of the process. We’ll explain how to keep your information current as your phone number or address changes.

Guidance for Life at Home

New pets don’t arrive with instructions. We welcome questions about feeding, house training, litterbox habits, socialization, chewing, scratching, sleep, exercise, and introducing your puppy or kitten to other animals.

Our Pet Nutrition services can provide added support if you have feeding or growth concerns. As your pet matures, regular Wellness and Preventative Care visits help us continue monitoring their health through adulthood.
